Nayna’s endeavors gained further recognition at the Indus Style Awards 2006, when the company was nominated among the top four upcoming designer labels.
In 2003, Nayna was the sole designer for the Tag Heuer launch show in Pakistan. Two years later, in May 2005, Nayna launched its collection for the first time with an exclusive fashion show in Lahore. The show was in collaboration with Christian Dior, Tag Heuer and Fendi watches – the first ever local partnership that these acclaimed brands had formed.
Being a socially responsible corporation, Nayna formed a partnership agreement with the United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP). This agreement governs the key ingredients for Nayna’s 2006 – 2008 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. Under this partnership, Nayna will collect funds and participate in various fund raiser activities for the UNWFP. The show was sponsored by Sony Ericsson Pakistan.
However, this was only the beginning. In 2006, Nayna finalized a franchise deal with Paula Lishman International, a designer, manufacturer and retailer of fur yarn. During her 25 years of business, Paula has received many honours. In 1995, she was chosen as Canada’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in the category of International Competitiveness and in 1996, won the Oshawa Clarington Business of the Year Award for businesses over 20 employees. Paula has also been named one of the top 100 Canadian Woman Entrepreneurs by prestigious magazines like Chatelaine and Canadian Business Magazine.
In 2007, Nayna launched its first outlet in the posh locality of Defence, Lahore. The unique beauty of this store lies in its exclusive focus on the working woman. By focusing on the corporate working woman, Nayna produces high quality fabrics coupled with minimal yet exquisite embroidery for daily usage at the office.
As part of Nayna’s 2008-10 expansion plan, the Company plans to award franchises and toll manufacturing contracts to various organizations in the UK and US. In lieu of this, Nayna is proud to inform all its clients that Organza Designs, London, has been awarded the first franchise of Nayna.
