PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week has started with its glamour, chutzpah and allure. Showcasing more than 13 designers, this fashion week is rocking the evenings of Lahore as we speak. Where renowned designers, makeup artists, models and glitterati add stardom to the evening, the emerging designer Misha Lakhani makes a strong footing in the fashion week with her unique and classic collection of evening, ready-to-go and couture wear.

A Fashion Designing graduate from Central Saith Martins and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University, Misha Lakhani is a talented designer. Anyone in the fashion world will vouch for her talent and creativity when it comes to designing a range of bridal and casual wear. Misha brings to us a fusion of tradition and modernism that highlights the unique sense of personal style.

My signature style is eclectic aesthetic, says Misha, ‘Film, art deco and vintage craftsmanship have been lifelong inspirations for me.’

With her bridal collection, Misha made her ramp debut at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week on 1st October, 2012. A Colonial Transgression is a collection inspired by the Taj Mahal’s silhouettes and inlay work. She has used fabrics such as crepe, muslin, georgette, velvet, satin, net and chiffon etc. bringing back the classical style and tales of Jaipuri gota, Rahmata Gayatri Devi and Daphne Guiness’s eclectic way. Misha has impressed the audience with the selection of a rich color palette for her collection i.e. citron, blush, olive, ivory, hot pink, cardinal red and Bordeaux.

Misha Lakhani began her fashion journey early in 2012. Her designer collection can be checked at F 43/1 E street, Block 4 Clifton, Karachi.
