Certainly, Farhan and Ambreen , one of the best duo designers in the fashion industry are “Trend Setter”. The reason is simple, they always keep a tendency to design something unique that will go with the latest trend in fashion vague. These designers are having a great work experience in retail stores. Farhan and Ambreen have developed incredible sense of imagination and creativity working for retail stores more than 10 years. And ultimately Farhan Wahid and Ambreen Wahid established their own label named Farhan and Ambreen.
However the start is more interesting. At the initial stage of their career, they were working separately and they did not know what the fusion will give them- an incredible success. Initially, Ambreen was inclined to design for women’s apparels and Farhan was designing menswear in Pakistan. Farhan has an experience of 6 years where as Ambreen has gained the experience of around 12 years. Well, it’s remarkable that Farhan was involved in playing tennis before he came into the fashion industry and also secured the 3rd place in under 18 rankings in Pakistan.
Once this both Farhan and Ambreen collaborated and started working together, they came up with their first duo collection named ‘The Lawn’. They both have synchronized with affluent stream and people have appreciated the different designer collection every time. Under their label, they have showcased well appreciated collection of bridal wear, party wear, and casual wear. The Farhan and Ambreen is a perfect blend of designers who has amalgamated eastern delicacies with western cuts that unites a new and exceptional look.
In an industry as volatile as fashion, It takes more than just a mere talent to survive. One needs to have his hand in the pulse, be informed of the changing trends and enabled to adapt to them in time. After 10 years’ experience of retails stores and fashion designing, Farhan Wahid and Ambreen Wahid decided to launch a label called F&A.
Growing up in the same house, this brother-sister duo could relate to each other’s aesthetic drive and this helped them synchronize their expertise and aspirations to create something substantial in the form of exclusiveclothing.
Working for retail stores gave Farhan and Ambreen a rare insight in to the demands of people, what do they like and how can designs be altered slightly to increase their appeal on mass level. With F&A, they launched a debut line consisting of eastern casual wear, party wear and bridal attire as well. Their both formal and semi-formal collection is available in ready to wear form, and can be customized if requested.
Despite churning out fabulous pieces ceaselessly, machine embroidery designs remain their forte. Creating a gentle fusion of eastern delicacy and western edgy cuts, their collection is certainly awe-inspiring. Their future endeavors will include a western collection designed with inspirations from the likes of Armani and YSL.
